A Very Special April 24, 2011
On Resurrection Sunday, three Big Island churches gathered at Grace
Baptist Church of Hilo for a 6:30 a.m. “Son-Rise” Service led by Pastor
Rodney Chai and the
Grace
Baptist
Church
choir. The worship leaders of O’okala Fellowship led by Pastor Phil
Underhile sang special numbers as well. After the uplifting worship
service, the churches gathered on the grounds of Grace Baptist for a joint
breakfast at 8:00 a.m. After an extended time of food and fellowship, the
three churches reunited at the Berean Bible Church facilities for a
continuation of the Resurrection Day celebration at 10:00 a.m. Led by the
Berean Bible Church choir and songs from the O’okala Fellowship singers,
the joined congregations rejoiced together celebrating the resurrection of
the Lord Jesus Christ in song. Pastor Phil Underhile preached a powerful
gospel message of
regeneration made possible only in the
